About the Role
As an Interpretation and Education Intern, you will assist in highlighting the history of Black on-board rail car workers for the Pullman Company, including the Pullman Porters. Your responsibilities will include developing interpretive story maps and public-facing materials, engaging visitors, and supporting educational programming and community engagement efforts. This internship will provide hands-on experience in public historic land management and communications, contributing to the celebration of the Pullman Porters' contributions to American history.
About You
Required:
- Must be a senior or recent graduate of an HBCU (within the past 2 years).
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to commit to a 12-week, full-time internship.
