International Rescue Committee is seeking a part-time Interpreter – Spanish to join their team in Baltimore, MD. The role involves providing in-person and remote interpretation services to Limited English Proficient individuals and their service providers.
About the Role
As a Spanish Interpreter, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, impartial, and confidential interpretation in various settings such as clinics, hospitals, schools, and community organizations. Your tasks will include tracking assignments using designated software, participating in trainings and assessments, and supporting special projects as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma strongly preferred.
- Spoken proficiency in Spanish.
Preferred:
- Interpretation certification preferred.
- Relevant professional interpretation experience preferred.
- Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations strongly preferred.
