About the Role
As an Interpreter III, you will interpret statements in open court and other departments for non-English speaking individuals, translate documents, and assist in training new interpreters. You will maintain confidentiality and establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication.
About You
Required:
- AOPC Certified Court Interpreter or reciprocity from another State certifying authority.
- Two to four years of experience providing interpreter/translator services in a judicial setting.
- Successful completion of a criminal background investigation.
Preferred:
- Considerable knowledge of medical and legal terminology.
- Ability to interpret for long periods of time.
