About the Role
As an Interventional Radiology Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing pre-procedure education, performing assessments, monitoring patients during procedures, administering medications, and ensuring post-procedure care. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the unit's goals while exemplifying patient safety standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- 1-2 years experience in ICU, IR, ED, or PACU.
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure in the District of Columbia.
- CPR certification for healthcare providers within 90 days.
- ACLS certification within 180 days.
Preferred:
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition.
