About the Role
As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will assist in setting up the interventional suite, utilize proper aseptic techniques, prepare and position patients, complete required documentation, maintain adequate supplies, and implement radiation protection and patient safety standards. You will also adapt to interventional provider preferences and participate in inventory control.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree or certification from a technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Radiography Certification and Registration (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Vascular Interventional Radiography Certification and Registration (VI) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 24 months of hire.
- CPR – American Heart Association certification.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
