Gifthealth is seeking an Inventory Control and Distribution Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH. The role involves maintaining the integrity of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical inventory and ensuring compliance with cold chain protocols.
About the Role
As an Inventory Control and Distribution Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products. You will store inventory in temperature-controlled environments, log and track inventory movement, conduct regular audits, monitor refrigerator temperatures, and ensure safe handling of pharmaceutical products. Additionally, you will prepare products for shipment and collaborate with pharmacy and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Preferred:
1+ year of experience in pharmaceutical, warehouse, or supply chain operations preferred.
Familiarity with DSCSA compliance and inventory systems (Fishbowl, Lspedia, Excel) is a plus.
