Summary
Georgia Pacific is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee MRO inventory across multiple manufacturing divisions in their packaging & cellulose division, located in Atlanta, GA.
About the Role
As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for managing MRO inventory levels, monitoring inventory KPIs, conducting plant visits, leading optimization cycles, and implementing sustainable processes. You will collaborate with plant leadership and various teams to ensure operational reliability and drive inventory health improvements.
About You
Required:
- Experience in inventory management, supply chain, reliability, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive action.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP tools, and optimization technologies.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
- Ability to communicate and present across all levels of the organization.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or Operations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with MRO inventory or storeroom management.
- Background in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access and/or SQL.
