AXA Investment Managers is seeking an Investment Associate, Global Health Investing to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves supporting the global health private equity investment strategy through transaction diligence, modeling, execution, and monitoring.
About the Role
As an Investment Associate, you will support the execution of direct investments in global health companies, conduct due diligence, investment analysis, and financial modeling for funds and portfolio companies. You will leverage existing manager relationships to build a co-investment universe, assist in sourcing and ranking pipeline opportunities, and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships. Additionally, you will coordinate projects within the impact investing team, including new product development and reporting on impact data from transactions.
About You
Required:
- Experience as a Private Equity/Venture Capital/Investment analyst or associate.
- Track record of supporting private equity deals from sourcing to execution.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Relevant scientific University degree, preferably with a PhD or medical degree.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in the impact investment sector.
- Emerging market experience.
- Familiarity with medical device/pharmaceutical/vaccine clinical and regulatory pathways.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
