Lewis James Professional is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst for a contract opportunity with a financial services client in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
About the Role
As an Investor Relations Analyst, you will be responsible for earnings preparation, investor events, and board-level reporting. Your role will involve participating in meetings with analysts and investors, supporting the preparation of earnings scripts, investor FAQs, and board updates, and providing strategic input on investor messaging. You will conduct peer benchmarking, valuation analysis, and investor perception studies, lead the planning and execution of investor events, and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Communications to ensure compliance across all IR materials.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 4 years in investor relations, equity research, strategic finance or relevant roles in financial services.
- Understanding of capital markets and buy/sell-side dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in valuation, benchmarking, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in IR platforms, CRM tools, and financial databases (e.g., FactSet, AlphaSense, Bloomberg, Nasdaq IR Insight).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
