Summary
Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is seeking an IOP Coordinator & Parent Support to lead an Intensive Outpatient Program for women in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves establishing and leading a DBT-informed Parent Support Program for caregivers of youth and young adults with high-acuity emotional or behavioral needs.
About the Role
As an IOP Coordinator, you will coordinate daily operations of a DBT-based Women's IOP, collaborate with therapists and case managers, support suicide risk monitoring, provide clinical guidance, integrate wellness interventions, conduct outreach to community organizations, and create DBT-informed parent groups. You will ensure compliance with documentation regulations and facilitate smooth transitions of care.
About You
Required:
- Valid license (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC, LMFT, MFT, Psychologist)
- 5 years of clinical experience, including work with high-acuity populations
- DBT experience required (intensive training strongly preferred)
- Experience working with suicide risk, self-harm or significant emotional dysregulation
Preferred:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Prior experience in IOP or higher level of care
- Experience with parents/caregivers of high-risk youth or young adults
- Familiarity with the CCBHC service array, quality metrics and care coordination models
- Commitment to community-based, mission-driven work
