Summary
WellLife Network is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to join their team in Huntington, NY. The role involves delivering Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services within the ACT program, including job search, vocational assessment, job development, and coaching.
About the Role
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will provide IPS services in alignment with the evidence-based model, conduct vocational assessments, facilitate counseling and job readiness activities, develop job leads, and maintain client data. You will also engage with employers and community partners, advocate for participants, collaborate with the ACT team, and ensure compliance with documentation and regulations.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree in a related human service field.
- One year of experience in vocational assessment, job exploration, and skills development.
Preferred:
- Experience working with behavioral health populations.
- Computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and electronic medical records.
