As an IRS Tax Controversy & Procedure Senior Associate, you will be responsible for consulting on federal audits, tax collection issues, and resolution services. Your daily tasks will include managing client projects, preparing necessary documentation for IRS filings, and collaborating with IRS staff. You will also oversee client deadlines and participate in professional forums.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of public accounting or tax resolution experience.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- Previous IRS examination, collection, or federal tax consulting experience.
