Summary
Carriage Services is seeking an IT Desktop Administrator to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves providing Level 2 Desktop Support and ensuring smooth IT operations across the enterprise.
About the Role
As an IT Desktop Administrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day IT support functions, including incident management, asset management, and customer support. You will act as a liaison between IT and internal customers, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and contributing to continuous service improvement. Your tasks will include maintaining the Configuration Management Database, installing and deploying end-user environments, and participating in corporate cybersecurity initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Minimum four (4) years of relevant, hands-on, professional experience in service and support functions of a corporate environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Foundation certification in ITIL service management and understanding of IT Service Management best practices.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting C-Level executives and administrative staff on-site.
- Additional vendor certifications from Cisco (CCENT, CCT, CCNA) or Microsoft (MCP).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP.
