Branch is seeking an IT Engineer II to join their team, preferably located in Columbus, Ohio. The role focuses on enhancing device management capabilities and ensuring robust network connectivity across remote offices.
About the Role
As an IT Engineer II, you will be a key technical leader within the IT department, responsible for the lifecycle management of end-user devices and network infrastructure. Your tasks will include managing automated solutions for device provisioning, overseeing network devices, and ensuring compliance with security policies. You will also act as an escalation point for complex issues and contribute to IT policy development.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, focusing on end-user computing and network management.
- Proven expertise in automating device provisioning workflows for Windows and macOS environments.
- Experience with at least one major MDM/UEM solution (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro).
- Solid experience managing and configuring network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) in relation to devices.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
