TCP Software is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join their team in San Angelo, TX. The role involves providing technical support for applications, computers, printers, and phones.
About the Role
As an IT Help Desk Support Specialist, you will provide phone, remote, and onsite technical support for various devices and applications. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting Windows and Office applications, managing hardware and network connectivity, and creating technical documentation. You will also be involved in training users and managing equipment provisioning.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working on an IT help desk team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Technical writing skills and ability to train users.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft 365.
Preferred:
- Experience with Dell PowerEdge server hardware.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and network troubleshooting.
- A+ certification.
- Experience with automation and scripting (Microsoft PowerShell).
