PEAKE Technology Partners is seeking an IT Procurement Manager to join their team in a hybrid role based in Bowie, MD. The position involves overseeing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including vendor management, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics.
About the Role
As an IT Procurement Manager, you will lead the procurement function by developing and executing strategies that align with company and client needs. You will supervise the Shipping and Receiving Specialist, manage vendor relationships, analyze procurement data for cost-saving opportunities, and ensure procurement activities meet budgetary constraints and company goals. Your role will also involve coordinating logistics and providing reporting and procurement metrics to leadership.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of IT products and services.
- Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar ticketing/procurement platforms.
- Certification such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
