Summary
Lockheed Martin is seeking an IT Systems Engineer with Secret Clearance to join their team onsite in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on supporting Windows and Linux systems for the LRASM program.
About the Role
As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for system administration of Windows and Linux systems, coordinating system upgrades and patching, maintaining system cyber compliance, and ensuring the integrity and availability of applications. You will also perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple architectures, and implement effective backup/recovery and auditing procedures in classified areas.
About You
Required:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Ability to maintain a security clearance and customer acceptance
- Must possess or be able to obtain within 6 months a valid IAT Level II or III DoD Approved 8140 certification such as Security+
- Knowledge and experience with Linux distributions and environments
- Knowledge and experience with Windows
- Scripting ability (yaml, powershell, bash, shell)
- Experience with VS code or Visual Studios
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work through technical, project, operational, and resource challenges
- Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects
Preferred:
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (investigation within the past 5 years)
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker, AppTainer, and Podman
- Experience with hypervisors and virtual environments (VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V)
- Experience with Windows Active Directory
- Experience with layer 2 and layer 3 networking concepts
- Experience with storage appliances
- Experience with SELinux
- Knowledge of implementing technical requirements for NISPOM Chapter-8, JAFAN, JSIG, DoD RMF
