Healthier Mississippi People is seeking a Neurophysiology Tech. II to join their team in Jackson, MS. The role involves recording electrical activity from the brain and nervous systems using various neurodiagnostic techniques.

About the Role

As a Neurophysiology Tech. II, you will be responsible for developing rapport with patients, explaining testing procedures, obtaining and recording medical histories, eliciting and interpreting electrical potentials, and ensuring proper equipment maintenance. You will also perform long-term EEG/video monitoring and train lower-level technologists while promoting safety and infection control practices.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with two years in Neurodiagnostics (EEG/EMG).
Certification from the American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET) or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologist (AAET).

Preferred:

Knowledge of the functions and disorders of the nervous system.
Experience with neurodiagnostic testing and data acquisition.
