About the Role
As a Janitor Floor Tech, you will be responsible for a full range of floor care maintenance and custodial duties, including basic janitorial tasks such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms. You will also perform floor care maintenance for various facilities, operate floor care machinery, maintain equipment and supplies, and follow cleaning schedules. The position requires both independent work and teamwork, along with regular customer interaction.
About You
Required:
- Must have valid California Drivers License or obtain one before start date.
- Successfully pass a background investigation for the base.
- Must have the ability to obtain security clearance and submit all required documents through the government program (E-qip) before start date.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Physical stamina.
- Attention to detail.
- Floor maintenance experience required (preferred two years).
- Completion of on the job training and safety program.
- Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids and communicable and infectious disease.
- Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
