nTech Workforce is seeking a Java Angular Full Stack Developer to join their team in Washington, DC. The role involves modernizing a core claims processing application using AWS technology stack.

About the Role

As a Java Angular Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for full-stack application development using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Angular. You will design and interact with backend databases, primarily Aurora Postgres and MongoDB, and manage applications within the AWS cloud, focusing on containerization and orchestration using EKS. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment is essential, as well as contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle for a new application modernization project.

About You

Required:

Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
Professional, hands-on experience with Java 21.
Strong proficiency in front-end development using Angular 18.
A minimum of three years of extensive, hands-on AWS experience, including services like EKS, S3, and Aurora.
In-depth experience with Spring Boot and building microservices.
Strong experience with relational databases, specifically Postgres (Aurora Postgres is ideal).
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of total professional experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred:

Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solution Architect.
Prior experience in the healthcare or financial industries.
