Strata Innovative Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their team in Dunbar, PA. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings, primarily in the Oil & Gas industry.
About the Role
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues, reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers, participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule, and lead and mentor less experienced electricians.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma required.
- 5+ years of Industrial Electrical Construction experience.
- 2+ years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, motor controls, and hazardous area classifications.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (or applicable electrical code).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Journeyman License preferred.
- Equipment operating experience (excavator, manlift, skid steer, etc.) preferred.
- Experience in oil & gas facilities (upstream, midstream, or downstream preferred).
- Experience with Class I Div 1 & 2 installations.
- OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certifications.
