Summary
OSC Edge is seeking a Junior Business Development Professional to join their team in Manassas, VA. The role involves spearheading growth within the Federal, DoD, and commercial sectors by targeting key Federal agencies and closing new business opportunities.
About the Role
As a Junior Business Development Professional, you will develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy, manage the full BD lifecycle, establish relationships with decision-makers, and contribute to the evolution of BD processes. You will also monitor government portals for opportunities and present strategic growth opportunities.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-4 years’ experience working in the Federal IT industry.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Proven ability to capture small and large-scale DoD contracts, preferably in information technology.
- Strong knowledge of POM processes and contracting vehicles (e.g., IDIQ).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle competing deadlines.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel at least 25%.
Preferred:
- Associates Degree or higher degree.
- Possess an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
