Summary

Intertek is seeking a Junior IT Systems Administrator to join their team in York, PA. The role involves maintaining and managing field office IT systems and infrastructure, providing Tier 3 support for escalations and project work.

About the Role

As a Junior IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining filesystem and data storage integrity, performing administrative tasks for file servers and IT systems, monitoring server capacity and performance, implementing backup policies, coordinating data recovery, documenting disaster recovery plans, and collaborating with internal and global teams for IT infrastructure support.

About You

Required:

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience supporting IT Systems in a production environment.
Working knowledge of MS server operating systems.
Working knowledge of VM technology, specifically VMWARE and Hyper V.
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory.

Preferred:

Technical certification such as MCS or MCSE.
Experience with cloud management & deployment services (Azure & AWS).
Experience with Exchange Online management via PowerShell.
Experience with MS SQL server management.
Experience with Dell and HP server hardware.
