Summary
Intuitive Machines is seeking a Junior IT Technician to join their IT Team in Houston, Texas. The role involves providing deskside support and maintaining IT infrastructure for the company's innovative space programs.
About the Role
As a Junior IT Technician, you will be responsible for deskside support, workstation setup and maintenance, printer setup and resupply, organizing IT storage, assisting staff with software and scripting needs, and learning to maintain a large network infrastructure including petabyte-scale storage and high-performance computing.
About You
Required:
- Associates degree in Information Technology or related field plus 1 year systems administration, helpdesk, or desk-side support experience, OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
Preferred:
- Experience with MacOS in a workstation environment.
- Experience with Windows in a workstation environment.
- Experience with Linux in a workstation or server environment.
- Experience with shell scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting a variety of applications.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with the puppet configuration management system.
