Amentum is seeking a Junior Project Manager GIS Analyst to join their team at Dugway Proving Ground, UT. The role involves project management support for testing and evaluation of chemical and biological defense systems.
About the Role
As a Junior Project Manager GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for managing project schedules and costs, communicating with customers, and providing technical expertise for training and testing programs. You will also support the creation of Safety Danger Zones for live fire events and prepare professional map products. The position requires collaboration with various teams and the ability to work independently in both indoor and outdoor environments.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university or a combination of project management and military/emergency response experience.
- Experience in project management including schedule and cost tracking.
- Ability to review CWO requirements and perform technical approaches.
- Experience in the development and management of work breakdown structures and earned value management measurements.
- Competence in basic computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with staff, contractors, and DoD clients.
Preferred:
- Personal and professional interest in military and application of geospatial technologies.
- Experience with laboratory test equipment such as MTS or Instron Test Frames.
