About the Role
The Junior Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and updating shipment files with accurate dates and confirmations, validating shipment data against planning schedules to support on-time and in-full delivery, coordinating pick-up appointments with logistics providers, collaborating with Quality Assurance and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely release of finished goods, resolving logistics issues, supporting quality investigations related to product shipments, escalating risks to release timelines, serving as the central contact for shipment inquiries, participating in operations meetings, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience (additional experience may substitute for education).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel with skills in pivot tables, charts, VLOOKUPs, and database functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive initiative.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Ability to develop strong internal relationships and influence decisions.
- Experience coordinating and facilitating cross-functional meetings.
- Comfortable working in complex or ambiguous environments.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning.
- Experience with JDE Forecasting/Planning and customer service modules.
- Knowledge of inventory management methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo where appropriate.
