Amgen is seeking a Key Account Manager - Respiratory Biologics to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role involves assessing and diagnosing the business environment in assigned accounts to support sales performance and brand strategies for Amgen's Respiratory products.
About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will lead contract delivery, build relationships with opinion leaders, ensure formulary adoption, and coordinate initiatives across field teams. You will engage with key decision makers, monitor business performance, and develop innovative strategies to reach healthcare providers. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external customers to drive success in complex partner organizations.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree & 6 years of sales and/or account management experience OR
Master's degree & 4 years of sales and/or account management experience OR
Doctorate degree & 2 years of sales and/or account management experience
Preferred:
3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience
Resides in the geography and has established relationships with key accounts/customers
Advanced degree (e.g. MPH, MBA, PharmD) with 7+ years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience
Experience in clinic, hospital, access environment, and specialty experience
Knowledge of payor systems, billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
Excellent interpersonal skills including networking, influencing, negotiation, and communication
