About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be part of the Food Service Team responsible for preparing and serving meals, adapting menus to dietary needs, and ensuring safety standards in the kitchen and dining hall. You will assist in managing food inventories, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting campers with special dietary needs. The position requires working irregular hours in a camp setting from May 29 to August 2.
About You
Required:
- Must be 17+ years old as of May 25, 2026; staff living on-site must be 18+.
- Prior experience working with children of various ages.
- Enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and has prior food service experience.
- Current Food Handlers certification.
- Proof of health physical clearing the candidate for work in a camp setting.
Preferred:
- Willingness to work and live in an indoor and outdoor camp setting.
- Ability to work irregular hours with limited equipment and exposure to various weather conditions.
