About the Role
As the KYC Compliance Technology & Controls Lead, you will act as the primary liaison between Compliance, KYC Operations, and Technology for onboarding system enhancements. Your responsibilities will include leading the design and refinement of workflow controls, developing business requirements for onboarding tools, participating in system testing, identifying operational gaps, and supporting governance activities related to onboarding systems.
About You
Required:
- Background in Client Onboarding, KYC/KYB, AML, or Financial Crimes within banking, broker-dealer, or fintech environments.
- Working knowledge of onboarding platforms, workflow/case management tools, or KYC system architecture.
- Ability to translate compliance or operational needs into clear technical requirements.
- Experience participating in system upgrades, data remediation efforts, workflow redesign, or tech-driven process improvements.
- Strong project-management skills with ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort dealing with both business and technology stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with workflow technologies such as Salesforce, Appian, Pega, Fenergo, Actimize, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with APIs, data mapping, system testing (UAT), or business requirements documentation.
- Exposure to regulatory requirements related to CIP, CDD/EDD, KYC onboarding controls, or independent testing.
