About the Role
As a Lab/Medical Assistant, you will assist with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining quality control standards, processing patient care documentation, coordinating patient care as directed by physicians, and organizing and cleaning exam and treatment rooms.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or registration or the ability to obtain the designation within 180 days of employment.
- Current CPR and/or BLS certification or the ability to attain the certification within 30 days of employment.
- Microsoft experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Phlebotomy skills.
- Tuberculosis screening and proof of immunity to certain diseases.
