About the Role
As a Lab Processing Tech II - Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for the performance of EKGs, collection of specimens within your training scope, and preparation of all specimen types. You will assist with patient registration, laboratory report distribution, and other clerical duties. Additionally, you will manage and troubleshoot pre-analytical automation as assigned and provide training and orientation for internal employees and external customers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
About You
Required:
- Four year high school graduate or GED equivalent with phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Training and ACT 169 clearance.
- Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable.
Preferred:
- A.S.C.P. certification in phlebotomy.
