Summary
American Red Cross is seeking a Lab Services Procedure & Training Document Developer to join their team remotely in the United States. The role involves leading the analysis, design, development, and enhancement of business processes to support the implementation of a new Blood Management System.
About the Role
As a Lab Services Procedure & Training Document Developer, you will be responsible for leading task analysis activities, designing new complex Lab Services processes, developing written procedures and training documentation, supporting business unit process re-engineering plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will also support clinical laboratories and conduct specialized testing while driving process improvements and leveraging technology.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related biomedical experience.
- Proven ability to manage tasks across cross-functional teams and departments.
- Experience working in an agile environment, with iterative review and documentation updates.
Preferred:
- Six Sigma certification highly desired.
- Familiarity with Instructional Design Development (IDD) format and SmartSolve.
- Prior experience working in a 100% remote environment, collaborating effectively via Teams and SharePoint.
