Labcorp is seeking a Lab Services Team Lead for the 2nd shift to join their Ascension Columbia St. Mary's team in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves overseeing laboratory operations and leading a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
About the Role
As a Lab Services Team Lead, you will assist the supervisor with daily operations, send production reports, train new hires, monitor specimen acceptability, perform technical procedures, troubleshoot instrumentation, and ensure quality patient care through accurate test results. You will also maintain a safe work environment and manage supplies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technologist.
- ASCP and/or AMT Certifications required.
Preferred:
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures.
- Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
