Labcorp is seeking a Lab Supervisor - Flow Cytometry to join their analyst team at CMBP in RTP, NC. The role involves overseeing the Flow Cytometry Analysts and ensuring accurate analysis and timely reporting of results.
About the Role
As a Lab Supervisor - Flow Cytometry, you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the Flow Cytometry Analyst team, ensure cases are accurately analyzed, train and mentor the team, and engage in continuous process improvements. You will also perform bench work as needed and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.
- Minimum 4 years of pertinent experience as a Technologist.
- Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP and relevant state regulations.
- Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Flow Cytometry experience.
- Previous supervisor/leadership experience.
- ASCP or AMT certification.
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
