About the Role
As a Lab Supervisor - Microbiology, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring laboratory personnel, monitoring daily workflow, ensuring proper staffing, and maintaining quality control. You will also engage in process improvements, prepare quality assurance records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technologist/Technician.
- FL State Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Previous supervisor/leadership experience.
- ASCP or AMT certification.
- Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations.
