About the Role
As a Labor & Employment Attorney - Defense, you will be responsible for advising employers on workplace policies, employee relations, wage and hour compliance, and risk management. You will represent the organization in legal proceedings, conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, collaborate with other attorneys, and provide training on labor and employment law matters.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably in a defense role.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and representation skills.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice on complex labor and employment law issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
