About the Role

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, handling and processing laboratory specimens, completing computerized tasks related to patient registration and test order entry, and performing basic post-analytic tasks. You will also maintain a clean and safe work area, monitor pending work, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

About You

Required:

High School Education/GED or equivalent.
Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPTI) license in CA.
Phlebotomy Tech (CPT) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician II (CPTII) license.

Preferred:

Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
Experience in Phlebotomy in an acute care environment.
CPTI license preferred in OR and HI.
