About the Role
As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory work, including phlebotomy on both adult and pediatric patients, quality control, patient registration, specimen processing, and preparation of surgical/cytology specimens. You will also handle filing, photocopying, and answering telephone calls for the department, while ensuring an effective laboratory customer interface.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Phlebotomy training and experience.
Preferred:
- Previous science course education.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Basic computer skills; Meditech and EPIC experience preferred.
