Terray Therapeutics is seeking a Laboratory Automation Software Engineer to join their team in Monrovia, CA. The role involves creating and maintaining software systems that power wet-lab automation.
About the Role
As a Laboratory Automation Software Engineer, you will be responsible for application level programming in Python, C#/.NET, and Java, interfacing with commercial software systems via APIs/SDKs, implementing custom scripting within vendor-provided laboratory control software, creating device drivers for laboratory system integration, maintaining and extending currently implemented code for systems control, imaging, and data acquisition, and integrating laboratory platforms with information management systems (LIMS).
About You
Required:
5+ years of demonstrated expertise with programming languages (Python, C#/.NET, Java).
Experience in creating applications with state-of-the-art GUIs, thread management, and device level control.
Expertise in building device drivers and control software for laboratory equipment.
Experience integrating with external software using APIs/SDKs.
Preferred:
Familiarity with Micro-manager microscope software, ImageJ, and Beanshell scripting.
Familiarity with scripting environments of commercial lab automation packages, particularly Agilent VWorks and Biosero GreenButtonGo.
