About the Role
As a Laboratory Research Assistant, you will perform various duties related to the processing and analysis of clinical research specimens. This includes assisting in the development and oversight of the Molecular and Cell Culture Cores, conducting daily operations, and ensuring optimal biospecimen quality and research data collection. You will work closely with the Biorespository Sr. Scientist/Coordinator and other laboratory staff, participating in customer service and maintaining respectful relationships.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical research, biopharmaceutical, or basic science laboratory setting.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in cell-based research, including nucleic acid and protein analyses.
- Experience with cell culture and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with implementing quality assurance measures and interpreting quality control data.
