Summary
Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor III to join their Cell Immunology team located in Burlington, NC. The role involves supervising the day-to-day operations of the Cell Immunology department and ensuring accurate laboratory test performance.
About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor III, you will supervise laboratory personnel, ensure timely reporting of test results, monitor daily workflow, and engage in continuous process improvements. You will also maintain quality assurance records, evaluate new process improvements, and perform administrative duties as needed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a non-traditional Bachelor's degree that meets local regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Technologist.
- Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations.
- Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Previous supervisor/leadership experience.
- Previous experience with Flow Cytometry.
- ASCP or AMT certification.
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
