Summary
CooperSurgical is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team in Spokane, WA. The role involves executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to screen, process, and preserve various samples for future clinical use.
About the Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will work within one of CooperSurgical's Laboratories, including the Genetics Lab, California Cryobank, Cord Blood Registry, or Stem Cell Processing Lab. Your responsibilities will include sample processing and preservation, laboratory maintenance and operations, documentation and compliance, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and performing additional duties as directed by management.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in the sciences preferred.
- Knowledge of the proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Ability to understand and apply safety standards and good laboratory practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Benefits
- Starting base pay between $19.00-$29.49 per hour depending on location and level.
