About the Role
As a Lactation Consultant - NICU, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support mothers in managing breastfeeding, educate staff on complex breastfeeding issues, and maintain breastfeeding statistics. You will also develop policies and procedures for lactation services and participate in quality improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Nutrition, or Nursing from an accredited college/university.
- Current IBCLC certification or eligibility to sit for the exam.
- CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a neonatal intensive care or pediatric unit as an IBCLC.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills.
