About the Role
As a Land Surveyor, you will administer and supervise contract work, ensure standardization of survey methods, and have final responsibility for the accuracy of various types of surveys. You will prepare scopes of work, write technical specifications, and coordinate field mapping activities with other agencies. Additionally, you will serve as a project coordinator for large projects within the Project Management Business Process teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or civil engineering with a surveying emphasis.
- Current registration as a Professional Land Surveyor in a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia obtained by written examination.
- One year of specialized experience in surveying, GIS, and mapping activities.
Preferred:
- Experience with various types of surveys including geodetic, cartographic, and hydrographic surveys.
- Familiarity with contract negotiations and government estimates.
