Summary
Systems Integration & Development (SID) is seeking a Project Manager for a full-time, remote position in Washington DC. The role involves providing project management resources and processes to control, plan, identify issues, and monitor all work activities.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to project scope and objectives, develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, perform analysis of program costs and milestone performance, and conduct project meetings. You will also assist in defining project requirements and system specifications, and provide and maintain an integrated milestone schedule.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, information technology, or engineering.
- 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT or software development.
- Previous experience supporting government contracts as a Project Manager, ideally NOAA specific contracts.
- Proven experience managing projects using Agile methodologies.
- PMP certification is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Jira).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster good working relationships.
