Summary
Rolls-Royce is seeking graduates for the Launch into Controls Software Engineering program in Indianapolis, Indiana. This permanent role is designed for ambitious graduates ready to make an impact from day one.
About the Role
As part of the Emerging Talent program, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers in the Electrical, Electronics, Software, Control System Design, and System Security (E24S) capability group. Your responsibilities will include software design, integration, verification, and system simulation, contributing to the development of power and propulsion systems under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
About You
Required:
- Educated to degree level in a STEM subject, including Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems using analytical and critical thinking.
- Knowledge/experience using compiled and scripted languages.
- Knowledge/experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Knowledge of closed-loop feedback control systems.
Preferred:
- Good written and oral communication skills to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstration of presentation skills both orally and visually.
- Ability to travel to worksites to perform responsibilities.
