About the Role
About You
- Proven experience in animal care, kennel, or veterinary hospital settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning, disinfecting, and biosecurity protocols.
- Proficiency in proper animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Ability to safely perform moderately heavy physical labor.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach when working with sick, injured, or anxious animals.
- Ability to administer medications and recognize abnormal or concerning conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships.
- Willingness to take initiative and support team development.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff.
