Summary
Croda is seeking a Lead Applications Scientist to join their team in Salinas, CA. The role focuses on developing products to enhance INCOTEC's competitiveness and ensuring product maintenance in line with market needs.
About the Role
As a Lead Applications Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining products, providing technical support, and leading new product development initiatives. You will participate in research program strategies, execute and evaluate research projects, and ensure effective communication with sales and marketing teams. Additionally, you will provide leadership and training to application scientists and technicians, and represent the company at trade shows and customer meetings.
About You
Required:
- University degree in chemistry, biochemistry, agronomy, biology, microbiology, plant science or related field.
- 10 or more years of related experience (bachelor), 5 or more years (masters), or 3 or more years (PhD).
- Excellent communication skills; strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically, precisely, and creatively.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication and human relations skills.
