About the Role
As a Lead Applied Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering NLP and Generative AI systems, building information retrieval and evaluation frameworks, translating product needs into ML problems, and owning model development and optimization. You will also act as a technical leader and mentor, contributing to the AI strategy and best practices for production-grade AI.
About You
Required:
- Strong background in machine learning, NLP, and/or Generative AI.
- Experience working with LLMs, retrieval systems, ranking, or search.
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML tooling and frameworks.
Preferred:
- Experience designing evaluation metrics and experiments for complex ML systems.
- Prior experience in an applied research or product-focused ML team.
- A PhD or research background.
