Summary
Playrix is seeking a Lead C++ Software Engineer (Gameplay) to join their team in Georgia. The role involves leading the technical development of mobile games and managing a team of developers.
About the Role
As a Lead C++ Software Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical development of gameplay features, managing a team, and ensuring high-quality code. Your tasks will include optimizing game performance, developing new gameplay mechanics, and collaborating with other teams to enhance the gaming experience. You will also oversee the architecture and design of game systems, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in C++ development, preferably in game development.
- Experience managing a team of developers (3+ people) for at least 1 year.
- Experience in developing commercial projects released in production.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with modern C++ standards (C++14/17) and STL.
- Experience with popular game engines (Unity, Unreal, Godot, etc.).
- Experience with AI assistants for development (Cursor, Copilot, etc.).
- Experience in mobile game development.
